I think it has bugger all chances of Oscar glory, except maybe some editing or effects noms. It looks much better in this trailer than in the previous ones. I am just wondering how the bloody hell Guy Ritchie landed this job, and the budget to go with it. He certainly hasn't shown much imagination or variation in his last few films (and some of the same themes pop up in here - gangster mentality and boxing). Having said that, and as loathe as I am to admit it, this trailer made me want to see it. However, what I really wanted from a Sherlock Homes film was something much, much more sublime than this!
This trailer's definitely an improvement, but only by so much. The whole thing looks bogged down in cliche, and I'm still not convinced about the casting (or Ritchie's ability to bring anything fresh to the proceedings). It looks like they're trying too hard to make RDJ's take on Sherlock the new Capt. Jack Sparrow, if you ask me.

I think it'll be worth watching, but I can't shake the feeling it'll fail...
